S&P Global Ratings lowered its long-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings on Botswana to 'BBB-' from 'BBB'. The outlook is negative. Short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings were also lowered to ‘A-3’ from ‘A-2.
