The Pula appreciated against the yen (1.8 percent), US dollar (0.8 percent), Chinese yuan (0.7 percent) and marginally against the rand (0.1 percent) but depreciated against the euro (1.5 percent) and the pound sterling (0.9 percent) in June. In the twelve months to June 2017, the Pula appreciated against the yen (17.0 percent), pound sterling (10.3 percent), US dollar (7.1 percent) and the euro (3.9 percent) while depreciating against the rand (6.4 percent).
