The Pula appreciated against the Japanese yen by 5.2 percent

The Pula appreciated against the Japanese yen (5.2 percent), pound sterling (4.7 percent), US dollar (4.6 percent), euro (3.9 percent) and Chinese renminbi (3.2 percent) but depreciated against the rand (5.0 percent) in December. In the twelve months to December 2017, the Pula appreciated against the US dollar (7.9 percent), Japanese yen (4.3 percent) and Chinese renminbi (0.9 percent) while depreciating against the euro (4.8 percent), rand (1.8 percent) and pound sterling (1.6 percent).
