The Pula depreciated against the rand by 1.8 percent

The Pula depreciated against the rand (-1.8 percent) but appreciated by 1.6 percent against SDR currencies over the one-month period to December 2019. It appreciated against the US dollar (2.4 percent); Japanese yen (1.6 percent); Chinese renminbi (1.5 percent); British pound (0.9 percent); and the euro (0.6 percent). However, in the twelve months to December 2019, the Pula appreciated against the Euro (3.1 percent); Chinese renminbi (2.4 percent), and US dollar (1.1 percent). It depreciated against the British pound (-2.3 percent), rand (-1.1 percent), and the Japanese yen (-0.5 percent).
