Domestic and International Collaboration

The DISB is a key member of the domestic financial sector safety net. Hence, it is a member of the Financial Stability Council. Internationally, the DISB is a full member of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI). It participates in Annual General Meetings and Conferences of both IADI and the IADI Africa Regional Committee (ARC). The ARC is a Regional Committee of IADI which has been created for Africa specifically to reflect regional interests and common issues through the sharing and exchange of information and ideas. The ARC performs its functions to further the objectives of IADI and acts in the best interest of IADI.
