The Pula depreciated against the pound sterling (1.3 percent), euro (0.8 percent), Chinese renminbi (0.7 percent) and Japanese yen (0.4 percent), but appreciated against the rand (0.4 percent) and US dollar (0.1 percent) in March 2018. In the twelve months to March 2018, the Pula appreciated against the US dollar (10.4 percent), Japanese yen (5.3 percent) and Chinese renminbi (0.7 percent) while depreciating against the euro (4.3 percent), rand (3.4 percent) and pound sterling (2.2 percent).
