The Pula depreciated against the US dollar (3.0 percent), British pound (2.9 percent), yen (1.0 percent) and the euro (0.3 percent), while appreciating against the rand (1.5 percent) in March. On an annual basis (twelve months to March 2013), the Pula depreciated against the US dollar (11.9 percent), euro (8.0 percent) and the pound (7.0 percent) while it appreciated against the rand (5.9 percent) and the yen (1.3 percent).
