The Pula appreciated against the rand (0.5 percent) and the pound (3.5 percent), while depreciating against the US dollar (0.2 percent), euro (0.5 percent) and the yen (6.6 percent) in February. On an annual basis (twelve months to February 2016), the Pula depreciated against the pound (6.8 percent), euro (14.1 percent), dollar (16.2 percent) and the yen (20.7 percent) but appreciated against the rand (17.6 percent).
