The Pula appreciated against the rand by 3.2 percent

The Pula appreciated against the rand (3.2 percent), but depreciated against SDR currencies at the end of December 2018. It depreciated against the Japanese yen (4.9 percent); Chinese renminbi (3.1 percent); euro (2.6 percent); US dollar (2.2 percent) and pound sterling (1.5 percent). In the twelve months to December 2018, the Pula appreciated against the rand (7 percent) but depreciated against the Japanese yen (10 percent); US dollar (8 percent); euro (3.9 percent); Chinese renminbi (2.9 percent) and pound sterling (2.5 percent).
