The Pula appreciated against the pound (2.4 percent) and the euro (6.2 percent) while depreciating against the US dollar (0.9 percent), rand (1.3 percent) and the yen (2.4 percent) in January. On an annual basis (twelve months to January 2015), the Pula depreciated against the rand (2.6 percent) and US dollar (5.3 percent) while appreciating against the pound (3.6 percent), yen (9.0 percent) and the euro (13.2 percent).
