The movement of the Pula against major trading currencies was mixed.

During December, the Pula appreciated against the yen (5.4 percent), euro (3.1 percent), and the pound (1.2 percent) while it depreciated against the US dollar (1.6 percent) and the rand (1.3 percent). On an annual basis the Pula appreciated against the yen (15.4 percent), pound (1.2 percent), US dollar (12.7 percent) and the euro (10.5 percent) while it depreciated against the rand (11.0 percent).
