The movement of Pula against major trading currencies was mixed.

During May, the Pula depreciated against the yen (6.0 percent) and the US dollar (3.5 percent) while it appreciated against the euro (4.1 percent), pound (2.4 percent) and the rand (0.1 percent). On an annual basis, the Pula depreciated against the yen (7.1 percent), the rand (6.5 percent) and US dollar (1.9 percent) while it appreciated against the euro (11.6 percent) and the pound (8.5 percent).
