In November, headline inflation remained at 4.3 percent, unchanged from October. Inflation fell for several commodity groups, including: alcoholic beverages and tobacco (from 8.9 to 8.5 percent); furnishing, household equipment and routine maintenance (from 5.3 to 4.8 percent); communication (from 0.1 to zero percent); recreation and culture (from 3.9 to 3.4 percent); and restaurants and hotels (from 7.0 to 6.5 percent). However, this was offset by rising inflation for clothing and footwear (from 6.2 to 6.3 percent); transport (from 1.6 to 1.8 percent); and miscellaneous goods and services (from 5.7 to 6.0 percent).  Inflation was unchanged for: food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.5 percent); housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (3.3 percent); health (8.6 percent) and education (7.4 percent).

The trimmed mean measure of core inflation and inflation excluding administered prices both fell by 0.1 percentage points from 4.0 to 3.9 percent and from 5.1 to 5.0 percent, respectively.
