The Domestic Company Index (DCI) closed the week ending August 5 at 7 150.13 points, down by 38.69 points (0.54 percent) from 7 188.82 points the previous week. For the year to date, the index has risen by 11.50 percent. The Foreign Companies Index (FCI)  remained flat at 1 805.85 points at the close of the week. A total of 1.1 million securities valued at P10.3 million were traded during the week.
