The Minister of Finance, Honourable Peggy Serame has appointed Dr Onkokame Mothobi to serve as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) with immediate effect. Dr Mothobi is the third external member, joining Dr Pinkie Gertrude Kebakile and Professor Patricia Masego Makepe who were appointed in April 2023.
